Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Account and authentication: when you sign in, Clerk processes identity details such as name, email, and authentication tokens. We use your Clerk user id to associate your books with your account.

Portfolio data you provide: properties, transactions, recurring rules, imports, exports, and similar bookkeeping records you enter or upload.

Connected sources: if you authorize Hospitable (or similar) sync, we receive property and reservation/transaction-related data needed to update your books, plus tokens required to keep that connection working.

Usage and technical data: basic logs and diagnostics needed to run and secure the Service (for example request timing, error traces, and device/browser characteristics).

How we store and use data

Application data for the owner app is stored in Cloudflare D1 (and related Cloudflare infrastructure used to host the Service). We use your data to provide bookkeeping features, syncs you enable, exports you request, and to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your portfolio books to train public AI models.

Cookies and similar technologies

Clerk and the Service use cookies or similar storage as needed for authentication, session security, and basic site function. Marketing pages may use limited analytics or waitlist-related storage where enabled. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may break sign-in.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us run TallyRoost — notably Clerk (authentication) and Cloudflare (hosting and database). If you connect Hospitable or another integration, data flows to and from that provider under your authorization.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the Service or users, or in connection with a good-faith business transfer of TallyRoost operations.

Exports and your choices

You can export data you have access to in the product (for example CSV exports). You may disconnect integrations you previously authorized. To request account or data deletion, email us at the contact below; we may keep limited records as needed for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, and we may apply a short soft-hold before permanent deletion.

Children

The Service is intended for adults managing rental portfolios, not for children under 13 (or the age required by local law).

International and security note

We host on Cloudflare infrastructure and aim for reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for a small SaaS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We do not claim SOC 2 or similar certifications on this page.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
